Hanan Maillot - Pili Nut
Our full coverage one-piece was designed with the idea to suck you in and smooth you out. This maillot is engineered to have a compression feel to give that extra confidence that every woman longs for when wearing a swimsuit. This comes with 2 spaghetti straps that loop through the brushed gold eyelets and finish at the back of the neck and the middle of the back for extra hold. There’s 2 signature angeloestrada clear toggle stoppers to hold both of the ends. But if you want the top to hold like a halter, just use one spaghetti strap and loop it through the eyelet just like the bikini. Pair this with the HANAN day to evening corset and you will look extra snatched walking to your private cabana. This can also be layered under some wide leg trousers and a blazer with the corset to bring you from the beach to the boardroom.
In Ancient Tagalog Mythology, Hanan is the sister of Mayari and Tala and one of the three daughters of Bathala by a mortal woman. The first prayer of the day is given to Bathala, Apolaki, and her as a sign of a new day. She is especially important during the entrance of a new age or a new phase in a person’s life. People offer her bountiful harvests and prayers during the birth of a child, entering adulthood, death, entrance of the planting season, beginning of the harvest season, and the start of a new annual cycle. These prayers are only conducted at the break of dawn. In Tagalog animism, the rooster and the dawning sun was Hanan’s emblem.
